Walking around in Florence saw this spot with the pastries. Tried it and we really like it. The service was quick and friendly. They also had gelato but we didn't try it. But the pastries we got were good.

The service was less than stellar,  the staff bordered on rude.  The gelato was about average for Florence. The cannoli was the absolute best cannoli we have ever had! It's worth the trip just for the cannoli! It wasn't too sweet,  the shell wasn't too flakey. It was just perfect!

Coronas Cafe is a gem in Florence! The breakfast sandwich, made of cheese, ham and fresh bread was melt in your mouth good and the espresso was awesome!  This is a great place for a quick breakfast or a leasurely lunch.  I highly recommend it!   No credit cards, only cash.

So overpriced, but you're in the middle of tourist central so I guess you can't expect much.  For 2 lattes and 1 pistachio coronet (croissant), it was over 20 euros!  The above mentioned were nothing out of the ordinary.

Today. So I went in and tried the hazelnut. It was not good. I asked to try the biscotti (which I ended up buying) but they told me "only one sample per person" ok cool... so if your gelato sample sucks like the hazelnut then....? Just overall rude too. Frowns and unpleasant. Spent 3.50 euros each on three half scoops. Because they put just a little in the cup. Because tourists are clowns. They treat you that way. When the workers travel they must want to be treated as clowns too.
